From today if you are already and accredited employer and have advertised the role in New Zealand, you can now apply for a “Job Check” to verify the job to be allowed to be filled by an overseas applicant.
To apply you must have:
- been accreditation to hire on the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)
- an acceptable job offer, job description and employment agreement
- evidence you advertised if the job pays less than twice the median wage or is not on the Green List
- Pay the application fee of $610
